Managing Classes And Section

In this tutorial, you will learn how to setup and manage classes & section (Arm) for your school.

Before creating a class using smadux, you will be require to setup all you section (Arm). 

 

How to setup Section (Arm)

To setup your school section, kindly follow the next steps:

1. Login to System Admin Panel.
2. On the main menu bar, click on the Academic
3. On the employee menu, click on class and section
4. Click on control classes to open window where you can create or manage classes & sections  
5. Click on section tab
6. On the create section side, enter the name and capacity of the class section and click save
7. To update existing section, click on the write icon on the action column of the section list. on the update tab, change the text and click on update

Note: you can name your section (arm) whatever name you want e.g A, B, C, Mary, Gold, Silver, Joy, Mercy, Favour etc

 

How to setup Classes

To setup your school classes, kindly follow the next steps:

1. Login to System Admin Panel.
2. On the main menu bar, click on the Academic
3. On the employee menu, click on class and section
4. Click on control classes to open window where you can create or manage classes & sections  
5. Click on Class tab
6. On the create class side, enter the name and class numeric(it can be in order 1,2,3,4 etc but it optional), select from section(Arm)
7. To update existing class, click on the write icon on the action column of the section list. on the update tab, change the text, click on the section field to add more or remove section (Arm) and click on update

Note: you don't need to create multiple classes for a particular class e.g if your school have JSS 1 (A), JSS 1 (B) and JSS 1 (Gold).. All you need to do is to add all the three section( A, B, Gold) to JSS 1

 

How to Assign teacher to a Class

To setup your school classes, kindly follow the next steps:

1. Login to System Admin Panel.
2. On the main menu bar, click on the Academic
3. On the employee menu, click on Assign Class Teacher
4. On the Assign Class Teacher window select the class, section(Arm), and   class teacher
5. You repeat step 1 to 4 for all your classes; section by section
6. To update a class teacher, kindly click on the write icon on the action column of the Class teacher list and update the class teacher
 
Note: that if teacher restrict is disable, any teacher can view, update student records but if teacher restrict is enable on the school settings,  only the assigned teacher can view and update a particular student records
